Honestly, we’re not always sure ourselves. That’s part of it.

The stock changes constantly — Indian fabrics, craft supplies, jewellery, books, designer shoes, leather boots from decades you didn’t know you missed. People donate their best things to us because they know we’ll look after them. Everything is sorted, steamed, and priced with care. Nothing gets thrown on a rail and forgotten about.

The shop is small, but it’s well put together. Clear sections, no dead ends, and a few surprises if you look properly. Our volunteers have a good eye — and opinions — which is why the window displays tend to stop people on the street.

We also sell online for items that deserve a wider audience. If you’re after something specific, it’s worth asking.

More Than a Shop

There’s something else going on here too. A charity shop is often the first point of contact people have with our hospice — somewhere familiar, local, and easy to walk into. Conversations happen here that wouldn’t happen anywhere else.
